Alex Rodriguez enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 20th of the season) in the 5th inning and doubled scoring a run in the 6th inning. SSB had 17 hits for the afternoon while Santa Fe had 9. Chris Reitsma(1-0) went 3 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Ryan Drese(4-7) was tagged with the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 7 hits and 2 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.
